Which devices are supported?
OpenhouseXR requires an iPhone or iPad with a LiDAR sensor for room scanning — this includes iPhone 12 Pro or newer Pro models, and iPad Pro models from 2020 onward. The viewer works on most modern web browsers and is optimized for Meta Quest 3 in VR.
How do I scan a room?
Open the app, tap the Scan tab, and slowly move your device around the room to capture walls, openings, and furniture. When you're satisfied with the coverage, end the scan, give it a name, and save. Your scan is stored on your device and can be uploaded to view in the web or VR client.
I'd like to try OpenhouseXR — how do I get access?
OpenhouseXR is currently invite-only while we test with a small group of users. Email support@solv-x.ca to request access and we'll get back to you when slots open up.
How do I delete my account or data?
Email support@solv-x.ca from the address associated with your account and ask for deletion. We will remove your account record and associated scans from our active systems and confirm by email when it's done. See Section 12 of our Privacy Policy for full details.
Something crashed or isn't working — what should I include in my report?
To help us reproduce the issue quickly, please include: your device model and iOS version, the app version (visible at the bottom of the Account tab), what you were doing when the problem occurred, and a screenshot or screen recording if possible.
