Alpha Test Confidentiality Agreement

Last updated: May 2026  ·  Good-faith agreement

This is a good-faith agreement between you (the tester) and OpenhouseXR (the company). It sets clear expectations about confidentiality during the alpha test period. It is not a formal legal contract — it's a mutual understanding between people working together to build something.

What we're sharing with you

As an alpha tester, you'll have early access to unreleased software, including features, interfaces, and functionality that are not publicly available. You may also see or hear about product plans, design decisions, and technical details during the testing process.

All of this is considered confidential information.

What we ask of you

What we promise you

How long this lasts

This agreement is in effect from the moment you join the alpha test until OpenhouseXR launches publicly or until we notify you that it no longer applies — whichever comes first.

A note on the spirit of this agreement. We're a small team building something new. This agreement exists to protect the work we're doing together — not to create a legal burden. We trust our testers, and we ask for the same trust in return. If you have questions about what's okay to share, just ask.

Your participation

By checking the confidentiality box on the alpha test application form, you confirm that you've read this agreement and that you'll follow it in good faith.

You can leave the alpha test at any time — just let us know. The confidentiality expectations above continue to apply after you leave, until the product launches publicly.
